MEET OUR ARTISTS : Carol Wathen

Carol's love of nature extends to landscapes, as well as the birds and wildlife she mostly paints. Living in St. Mary’s County and on a farm for much of her life, she is interested in painting the many historic buildings, especially tobacco barns. Surrounded by water on three sides, Wathen’s Herons Rest Studio provides a panoramic view of wildlife providing her with plenty of inspiration. She works in acrylic, watercolor and oil.
